Hello Everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank you all for the amazing response to my last few fashion posts, it's crazy I never would have thought the posts could have done so well! Carrying on with the fashion theme, in today's post I will be going through high street alternatives to SS18 trends, featuring many amazing products from River Island. I have shopped with River Island for quite some time now, and I recently introduced my mum to them. They have many beautiful items to suit all trends, body shapes and age ranges.

1) Tailored Style:
Many designers such as Burberry, Lulu Guinness and Roberta Einer showcased many tailored pieces also including contrasting patterns. If this is the look for you, River Island has you covered with their alternate striped wrap midi dress. This can be paired with a leather jacket for a more casual look or a blazer for a more dressy one. In terms of shoes, some heeled mules have been all the rage the past few seasons, gaining inspiration from Gucci. For accessories, statement bags with block colour have been highly publicised from brands such as Shrimp and Moschino.

2) Trench Look:
Burberry has the iconic beige trenchcoat but if that is outside of your price range as it is for many of us, River Island has your back with their amazing, high-quality Burberry dupe. This can be paired with a cute denim skirt and slogan jumper. Yet again for shoes, River Island has a beautiful collection of boots that compliment a variety of outfits whether it's skirts, jeans or dresses.

These bold jeans can also be paired with an equally bold top, this look is created through the contrast of blue and red with white cone mules - this look is completed with a statement shoulder bag.
